FLOURIDE TREATMENTa chart highlighting the best and worst foods for your dental health
We provide fluoride treatments to any patients who visit our office. They are a great way to strengthen and re-mineralize teeth.

With the high levels of acidity in a lot of common food and drink, everyone is a candidate for this treatment.

DENTAL SEALANTS
Now more than ever we are recommending dental sealants on any adults with deep groves in their teeth. What we do NOT want to happen is bacteria/plaque getting in these grooves & causing decay.

This would result in needing dental treatment/extra appointments and anesthetic.

sealants on permanent molars reduce the risk of cavities by 80%

CARIVU™ CAVITY DETECTION
We utilize the CariVu™ cavity detection system to diagnose tooth decay early on, before it can cause serious damage to your teeth and smile. CariVu is very safe, as it does not expose you to radiation. We may choose to use CariVu side by side with digital X-rays so that our dentist can have a more comprehensive view of your oral structures.

NIGHT GUARDS
An occlusal guard allows for joint structure decompression and muscle relaxation. It will also help to prevent wear on the surfaces of the teeth. If wear is extreme, this will only help to prevent from getting worse. Usually, a more permanent solution such as crowns are recommended.
